영국기후합창단(Climate Choir Movement)

2022년 출범한 '영국기후합창단'은 현재 10개 도시(바소, 브리스틀, 포레스 오브 딘, 길퍼드, 런던, 옥스퍼드, 플리머스, 포츠머스, 셰필드, 사우샘프턴와 스완지)에서 활동 중이다.

전체 합창단원은 600여 명에 이르며 이들은 법원 앞, 기업 행사장에 찾아가 기후위기 심각성을 알리고 변화를 촉구하는 노래를 부른다. “What’ the Solution?”, “Stop Rosebank”, “The Climate’s Changing What Are We Doing” 등의 노래가 있다.

The Climate Choir Movement has grown rapidly since Autumn 2022 and now has choirs in Bath, Bristol, Forest of Dean, Guildford, London, Oxford, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Sheffield, Southampton & Swansea.

The Movement has a collective ethos where all are involved in making it thrive. A core group coordinate major activities whilst local choirs arrange their own events, inviting other nearby choirs to join in if they wish.
